I am the author of the open source VoIP sotware drachtio and jambonz. This includes over 180 github repos and 45 packages on npm that are downloaded over 13,000 times per month.

  • drachtio is an open source SIP server framework that makes it delightfully easy to build SIP Server applications.

  • jambonz is an open source CPaaS application built on drachtio that enables organizations to deploy their own CPaaS at much lower cost and with greater security than commercial alternatives.

Sponsorship is one of the main ways that people who use the products can ensure that documentation is kept up to date, product stability is is unrelentingly increased, and new features get added.

If you are using the software, you are already on the team: now please do your part to make this team really rock!

Here is a list of outcomes that your sponsorship will enable:

  • Keep documentation updated as software releases occur.
  • Take on larger features (example: I would like to add a high-availability feature to the software but it will take 2-3 weeks of unpaid time, which I can not afford).
  • Provide faster response to issues from the community.
  • Improve product web sites with more examples and easier navigation.
